A NICE MORNING

Saturday was a nice day for us.  There were a few festivities in the town that we live in...of course it was during Luke's morning nap time.  He's still been battling his runny nose, so we dropped him off at my Gram's.  We were glad we did...we never get to take Lilly to do anything special with just her, Steve and myself, and she thought it was the greatest thing!  We got coffee (she got hot chocolate) and it was a pleasant morning/afternoon...about 50-55 degrees...can't complain about that HERE at the end of November!  We got to see the reindeer arrive, then we took a nice stroll around the "square" (park).  We waited for Santa to arrive, we also "talked" to some Christmas characters walking around.  For some reason the only one Lilly would get near was the snowman (I actually think it was a snow-woman?).  She stayed away from the gingerbread man, the reindeer and the nutcracker...not sure why?  She also had it all set that she was gonna tell Santa she wanted a kitten, not a real one, but one she could take to school.  Well, needless to say, when Santa arrived, she wanted NO part in talking to him!  (Pictures show that)!  None the less, it was a nice morning.

Yep, she wanted NO part of Santa!

Okay, so not a great family pic, but it's the effort that counts right?
