Okay, so I'm finally getting to make our Easter post! Yikes we've been busy with the bathroom, among other things! Well, I guess the "bathroom credit" has to go to my wonderful husband, but I do entertain the kids so they stay out of it! I have to say that he has done BEAUTIFUL work so far! The shower is all finished and it looks great. He painted tonight, and is gonna rip up the old floor tomorrow night and lay the new tile Friday night. After that we're just waiting on the vanity, counter top and mirror. Of course after we ordered the counter top they call us 2 days later only to tell us that it is on back order until the end of the 3rd week in April, and of course since it was a special/custom order we're stuck and being that Corian is pretty pricey, there's nothing we can do :( None the less, I'm excited to show the pics, but am making myself wait to post until it is all finished!
As for our Easter we had a wonderful time! We started out, of course with the kids getting up to find their Easter baskets and a small egg hunt here in the house. Then we went to a brunch/lunch at my Grams and she had an Easter egg hunt for Lilly, Luke and my little sister. They had lots of fun. It was exciting to see how much fun Lilly has now, and was neat to see Luke finally getting into it. Last year he wasn't even crawling yet, so it wasn't all that exciting of an egg hunt for him. It's amazing he went from that to running all over the place now! Then we went to dinner at Steve's mom's house, which is always kind of hectic. He has a large family and it keeps growing...congrats to his cousin Nick (and Vanessa) who shared the exciting news with us that she is expecting in October :) I didn't count, but I'm thinking there was more than 30, probably close to 40 people there. Pretty close to half is kids...ahhh, the noise...it was fun, but wowsa was it loud ha! His mom did a pretty fantastic egg hunt. When we arrived, the eggs were already out in their yard and Lilly was amazed. I wish I could've taken a pic of her face. The whole yard was "peppered" with colorful eggs! I believe she said there was 300! The basket of candy we have is bigger than the one from Halloween! I told Steve he REALLY needs to take a bunch of it and share with the guys at work, cause I can't have it here. I've lost 14 pounds so far...woo hoo. Now, only about 20 more to go...ugh! I'm working on it though, it's hard, but I've really been working hard!
We hope all of you had a wonderful and blessed Easter as well!!!
