FEEDING THE DUCKS (and geese)

A few nights ago we went down to one of our local parks on the river to feed the ducks.  Well, the mean geese made the task pretty much impossible!  I'm not saying we didn't want to feed the geese too, but the geese are so aggressive.  They hiss and chase the ducks away.  Steve and I tried our hardest to ball up some bread and throw it way out in the water.  A few ducks were lucky enough to indulge in some left over home made bread and some whole wheat mini bagels!  The geese got so close, the kids thought they wanted to be touched...and Mr. Luke thought they would also like to be chased...haha...not!  Either way, the kids (mom and dad) had a nice evening together :)
