PUMPKIN PATCH

Well, Lilly finally got to go on her first school field trip and ride on a big yellow school bus for the very first time!  I got to go with her, and we had a great time.  It was a little chilly, but I dressed her for it.  She has been waiting for a chance to ride on a school bus, and the look on her face when it pulled up out front of her school was priceless, her face, when she got to get on was even better!  She got to go and pick out any pumpkin she wanted to bring home...of course the one she got, she said was 'perfect', and I do have to say she picked a pretty good one!  There was also a farm at the pumpkin patch and she LOVED that part.  She got to pet goats, one tried to kiss her, and nibbled on her coat...she thought that was hilarious!  I love the sound of her giggles.  They also had quite possibly the fattest pig I've ever seen, not to mention the ugliest, haha!  After picking the pumpkins and looking at the animals, her class took a walk around the rest of the property.  Her teachers had a picnic set up where they had a snack, that was neat for them.  Then they enjoyed getting a book read to them and playing a couple of games.  It was a really nice morning, spent with my favorite little girl!  I look forward to other upcoming field trips, school events, and dance recitals!  HAPPY FALL TO ALL!!!
On our way...
