PUMPKIN CARVING

It's that time of year again!  One of our favorites...pumpkin carving!  It's Luke's first Halloween, so that makes it a little extra special!  Steve drew the faces on them this year, and he did a fantastic job I might add!  He carved Lilly's and I carved Luke's.  I have to say, we are pretty good at teamwork stuff!  Lilly said she wanted a happy face, so that's what she got.  Luke's is similar, but Steve tried to make it look more 'baby like', if that's possible on a pumpkin?  Lilly was a little less reserved this year with the 'icky stuff' inside (Lilly's words).  Last year she wouldn't even think about touching it, but this year she took out a couple of handfuls.  Of course, Luke sat in his high chair and had a snack...he LOVES his snacks!  We are praying for good weather again this year for Trick-or-Treating!!!  Last year was VERY unusual...it was in the 60s here.  Wish us luck!  I will post pictures of them in their costumes after next weekend.  Their costumes are too cute...I will save what they are as a surprise until I post the pics.  A little hint...their costumes "go together".  Well, onto a birthday party today!  I hope everyone enjoys this blog?  Feel free to become a 'follower' and leave comments.  We love to hear what you all think.  Until next time...
