FAMILY BLESSINGS

Last night was a simple Saturday night, but it was a FUN simple Saturday night!  We had Steve's brother, his wife and kids over for dinner.  It was just pizza, cheese and crackers, chips and dip and some fruit...sometimes simple is good, right?  The adults had a nice time talking over the kids visiting and the kids had a blast running around the house and making a complete disaster of both of the kids' bedrooms.  I have to say though, I was totally impressed that the kids picked up pretty much everything before the cousins had to go home.  I had the house straightened up completely within them being gone for 15 minutes.  YAY for me!  That's what else makes a simple evening/meal nice...SIMPLE CLEAN UP!!!

I'm extra super excited because Steve and I were asked to be the Godparents of our beautiful new niece :)  Double YAY for me!  I'm so touched and honored!  To me, that means someone really thinks a lot of you to take on that responsibility!
