FIRST DAY BACK TO SCHOOL

Finally, this morning marks me us being able to get back to a "normal" routine!  Lilly started her first day back to her second year of preschool.  She did great!  Although, Friday will be the real test.  She did fine on the first day last year too...but for 2 weeks after that we had tears almost every morning?  Not sure why it happened that way?  All I can figure is that the 2nd day she knew that I was leaving and not coming back for 3 hours...and I guess lets face it, to kids (in Lilly's words) "3 hours is like a whole day mom"!  It is nice that she knows so many kids though!   They really try to keep at least half of the kids together from the previous year.  I could tell she was getting more and more nervous as we sat and waited for the teacher to open the door, but then a friend from her dance class came in and they were equally as excited to see each other!  I got a little kiss, she walked in and never looked back.  I'm also happy to report that there were no tears for this mama this year!  Yay, go me!!!
